Union helped many St. mary's employees get to work in the winter storms and, according to the nurse, Union Cab made several patients health care possible on those days." Your driver I had last time was so nice. All your drivers are nice and I've had some real dopes with the other companies! I just wanted to call and let you know that one of your drivers was kind enough to let me into his lane in traffic on Broadway. It's nice to see that kind of reaction. I turned on my turn signal and he let me into his lane when traffic was really tight. it's refreshing to see nice drivers on the road these days. It was the bests ride I have ever had in a Union Cab!!! he was polite, pleasant and an awesome driver! Fun ride!! Excellent Driver!! I love your company!! Keep up the good work! I love all of you from the dispatchers to the drivers. You are all excellent. i will be your customer for a long, long, time! This is my second trip to Madison for business and the ABSOULTE BEST part of my whole experience was Union Cab! What amazing people! Even though I was riding in a cab, it was as pleasant and soothing as any spa experience. The drivers are so warm, friendly, and attentive. Such intelligent and enjoyable conversation-- I didn\'t want the ride to end! Even after airport nightmares, by the time I was transported to my hotel I was in a cheery mood!
From an anonymous comment published in The Capital Times' Sound Off column on March 2, 2004: "About the taxi article: For the last couple of months I've had an injury and couldn't drive, so I've been using the Union Cab service to get back and forth to work at different odd times. I want to say that the dispatchers are on the ball and the drivers are really courteous. They are always on time. They always did a good job. I got much better service from them that I get from any retailer in town and superior service from them than I get from my HMO. So in my opinion, they are worth the money. our cell phone. My husband left his cell phone in the cab on his way
to the airport Last Sunday. Matt handed in to your office and told
us in detail how to get it back. Thanks again.I know we can always

You would have lauu-auuu-aughed! we were at regent street retreat calling a cab last night (show at the annex, we weren't hanging out there) and no one could remember the number for union. someone FINALLY came up with the jingle. AND we had the funnest cab driver ever, hands down. he was cranking wiba so we sang all the way to the crystal - and that includes the driver who probably sang the loudest. yay union cab! Early Saturday Morning one of your cabbies picked up a fare at the Red Roof Inn and brought them to the Pyle Center...these people were from Kyoto, Japan and left their expensive camera in the cab....the cabbie brought the camera back in to the Pyle Center and let my student know these people left this camera and where they were from....if you can find out who had this call please thank them from the bottom these peoples hearts...and mine...they made some ones experience here in America a much better than it could have been. I want to start by saying that
your cab company is awesome... For the last few years about 20 of
my friends and I have attended the Great Taste of the Midwest The King would like to thank the Union Cab drivers for their outstanding service on Halloween night. First off, the woman who picked me up and took me down to the square was SUPER polite and awesome and right on time. She probably remembers me cause we had our pic taken. Then, after the festivities, Scary Elvis was out there freezing his ass off. Looking for any port in a storm, he was refused by the grumpy {competitor} cab guy cause he had no cash. Then, while at the end of his Scary Elvis rope, he spotted a Union Cab. Driver 967 graciously took Scary Elvis off the mean streets and took him home. Union Cab is the best {expletive deleted} cab in Madison. My Elvis wig is off to you. My only one suggestion is this - when taking a credit/debit card that you not write the card no./expiration date on the customer's receipt. Scary Elvis lost one of those on State, and is hoping that noone will be buying quarts of malt liquor with his number. THANK YOU PEOPLE, you give me faith in this town and are the best. Good Afternoon, I'm sending this to tell you why my afternoon is so good. I am so grateful to Ed (Union Cab Driver) for coming to my rescue today. I stupidly left my purse and pile of bills I was going to mail on the trunk of my car, when I left for work this morning. Ed found my purse and the mail on the road and returned them to my house this morning. You are lucky to have such an honest and thoughtful employee. . .when you see him, please tell him THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I was so worried, and now I'm so relieved and grateful Arlene of Madison Dear Union Cab Staff: I am writing to express my gratitude for your excellent and professional services over the last three months. I have basically been a prisoner in my own home since the end of September when I had several unexplained seizures. Wisconsin law prevents me from driving for three months. One can only depend on friends for so much. People asked me why I just didnt take the bus. Call me spoiled, but I dont like waiting around in the cold, hoping my ride will get me there in time. Among the obvious wonderful services I received were on time pick-ups and drop-offs, friendly service, and always a professional manner. I was and continue to be impressed with the extra services I receive. Whenever I was let off at my apartment complex, the drivers would always wait until I was safely inside the security door of my apartment complex before leaving. On one occasion, I was picked up at West Towne Mall with quite a few bags and a suit on a hanger. The minute I approached the cab, the driver jumped out, took my packages, and neatly hung my suit up in the cab. On another occasion, I asked the driver what a good tip was. He was very honest and ultimately pointed out it all depended on what one could afford. Again, after a massive X-Mas shopping trip, not only did the driver jump our of the cab to put my packages in the trunk, but he also carried all my packages to my front door. Then there were the several package trips. One unfortunate young man had to deliver a fecal sample to the vet-yuck! Last night, during the Blizzard of 2000, I needed a prescription delivered on an urgent basis. Even though the dispatcher said it would take up to three hours, my prescription came much earlier. In general, your services have been above and beyond the standard. Although I will be able to drive again in January, I will be forever grateful for your superb services and will always call on you when in need of a cab. Your phone number was the first one I stored on my cell phone. I only regret that I wasnt able to remember any of your names. No matter, you have all been wonderful!
