“If you don’t like it, wait 5 minutes and it will change.” While a lot of communities can make this claim, Madison is a city in which all four seasons can occur in a single day.
The weather, as you might imagine, has a dramatic impact on cab service. Please make adjustments for the weather when planning your trip with us. Extreme temperatures (high or low) tend to increase call volume much higher than the supply of cabs. Likewise, a sudden downpour can cause a rash of calls that disappear as soon as the rain stops.
In extreme weather that impedes travel, Union Cab may limit operations to the City of Madison. This generally only happens during blizzards. If the City of Madison bus system suspends service, Union Cab may also follow suit and limit service to only emergency travel (getting staff to hospitals and nursing homes).
