Union Cab of Madison Cooperative operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week every day of the year -- we never close!

We serve ALL of Madison and South-Central Wisconsin. Union Cab provides a no-share direct-metered taxi service. Union Cab dispatches with a radio and computer aided technology developed on site by Union Cab. As a worker-owned and operated cooperative, we make an extra effort to be the best. Our drivers undergo an extensive training program prior to their first shift in order to make them the best drivers on the road from their first day. Dispatchers and phone staff come from the ranks of drivers and undergo extra training. Our vehicles are maintained by our professional and certified mechanics. 

Payment for Services

Unless you have made other arrangements with us prior to your trip, payment is expected upon reaching your destination. Failure to pay for your fare is a violation of State Law and City of Madison Ordinance.

While we prefer cash, Union Cab accepts Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Customers may also pre-pay by purchasing coupons in denominations of $1, 50¢ and 25¢.  Union Cab coupons are available in $20.00 booklets from our business office (242-2010). Senior Citizens and people with disabilities receive a 10% discount of the coupon books.

Due to previous unsatisfactory experience, we do not accept personal, business, or third party checks!
