On the old television show, Taxi, the character Alex Rieger joked that he was the only cab driver in New York City. All the other drivers were really something else: a boxer, an actor, a musician, a writer, etc. Truth be told, the nature of cab driving allows people to pursure their dreams while they pay rent. At Union Cab, we refer to it as our intellectual capacity. We really do have Ph.D.'s driving taxi for us. WE also have a number of local musicians, politicians (including former elected officials), lawyers, authors, and artists. We want you to know more about our member's talents and have dedicated some space to their writing, their art, and their music.
We also value our friends in the community of cooperatives and the Madison area. We are ingrained into our community through driving on the streets and living in the neighborhoods. We are happy to share some of what makes Madison a great city with you.
